WC, SOO, WCL, CN, and it's still here today |
Although 3 changes in ownership may not seem like much, It's more than you'd expect. The Canadian National Waukesha Subdivision, also known the Ex-Wisconsin Central Chicago Sub, or Waukesha Sub was originally built by the Wisconsin Central Railway (not to be confused with the Wisconsin Central Ltd.) and then merged into the Soo Line in 1961. In mid 1987, the Soo Line sold its "Lake States Transportation Division," most of the lines from the old WC, and the first train ran in October. The WC lasted until October 9th, 2001, when the Canadian National bought the Wisconsin Central. (Kyle knows this, not me lol) runs from (Blah Blah I got lazy don't feel liek rn)
