Union Pacific RR
The UP: Triple Tiered Entry Points, engineered for smooth shipping
The Union Pacific Railroad wasn't always what it is today. All of it's lines in Chicago were originally Chicago and Northwestern Railway, which was absorbed in 1995. Chicago and Northwestern ran commuter trains on the three entry points which were known as the West line, the Northwest line, and the North line. Metra continues to operate on these lines. Click the buttons below to learn about each line! The West line is now the Geneva Sub, the Northwest line is now the Harvard Sub, and the North Line is the Kenosha Sub.
